What's important to learn in homeopathy first and why. The number one subject to master is emergency homeopathy. Number one. If you get anything from this course, get an emergency kit and get [the] emergency tapes (Emergencies and First Aid | First Aid Remedy Kit); that will serve you well. I had a case this past week, a young girl couldn't breathe, she was having severe stomach cramps, she couldn't sleep at night, was having bad headaches, and they called me on the phone and everyone was all upset. I said, well, what happened? This is a big question that's never asked. What happened? And the girl's cat died, the cat got leukemia and died, and it was a big shock and grief, and she's catching her respiration and can't breathe. Emergency medicine is the most superior part of homeopathy. So, I gave ignatia, the remedy ignatia. Okay.

[Question: What potency?]

200c, ignatia 200c, one dose, Kentian method of doing homeopathy, so it's good for emergencies and acutes. I gave that, I understood the problem, grief, shocking grief, death from a loved one, you can use that word, and she was in shock. Ignatia has the sighing, the catching breath, the sobbing, it has cramps in the stomach, and they can get very hysterical and can't sleep, and they're just in a state of disbelief. Now, one dose calmed her down. Now, all the chronic diseases that we see, [if] you trace them back, a good percentage of them, 40, 50, 60% of them will start with some emergency situation like this. Without the ignatia at that moment, she would have went into a chronic grief and would have relationship problems later on. She's 13 years old now, and that could have affected her for the rest of her life. Then she had went into a nat-mur state or a staphysagria state, or these other remedies that the Kentian people are so proud to treat, and a lot of them don't do any acute. “Oh, I don't treat flus and colds and emergency stuff, I only do the deep psychological.” Well the deep psychological comes from this stuff, okay? Abuse, rape, frights, loss of jobs, humiliations, and these things. You go in there with emergency medicine, you can clean it right up and prevent what we call a layer. We'll be talking about these layers, a layer from being formed on your energy field. Yes?

[Question]

That's right, exactly, that's a very good point. So, if someone's in therapy and this comes up, we often have Rescue Remedy and the Bach flower remedies. If someone's doing counseling and stuff and things come up, you can put that in water and let them sip it, or we give them the indicated emergency remedy. Anybody in an emotional crisis, we consider that an emergency situation, okay? And you can prescribe right there. You'll learn the top four or five remedies in your head and know a couple – [in] 1 second just to go get the remedy and prescribe it at funerals and things like that, we put it in water and pass it around, and people take a sip, and then people can sleep, they can handle all their affairs and the shock to their nervous system and all this stuff. So, I'm a total disbeliever in the idea that we need this pain for some reason. Nobody on the planet says we need the pain of a broken leg. But there's people out there that say we need the pain of a broken heart. And we don't – in homeopathy, we look at none of them different. Pain and suffering are the same on any level of the human being. The fact that they have it means they've already experienced it there’s no value of them keeping it, except to the therapist. Yes?

[Question]

Right. So, each person handles emotional pain different. And this is what we mean by a differential. So, differential, if I had given you five remedies for grief, each one will show you these top five ways that people handle grief. Now, ignatia is the number one remedy. So, if you don't know what to give, that's a good choice. [For] some people staphysagria suppressed their grief, nat-murs become introverted, okay? Each one handles grief different. Phosphoric acid, they lose weight, become apathetic, aurum metallicum, they become suicidal. And that's what you learn.

[Question]

No, that's nat-mur, okay? I'm only prescribing ignatia for the case I gave you; someone's breathing real hard, they can't sleep, they have a headache, they have an empty feeling in the stomach, in the chest. That's the ignatia picture. That's the number one remedy for acute grief. Then when you get to chronic grief, there's a lot of ways, a lot of people start with ignatia, then they go into one of the other remedies. And in your repertory, we’ll get into the repertory later and we’ll go to the psychological section of the book and go alphabetical to grief, and there's your top 30 remedies. There's 30 or 40 remedies for grief, okay? But the capital ones are the most often prescribed and then that's how we do homeopathy. Arnica is the number one remedy for all traumas. It removes the shock of the trauma, but it won't cure all trauma. You might have to follow with bryona or another remedy, the trauma to the joints, trauma to the head. But if you don't know what to do, arnica’s for physical trauma. If you don't know what to do, ignatia is your number one to remove the shock of emotional grief. And then what's left may take another remedy. But you have to act and act quickly. And the longer that's imprinted, the deeper the layer becomes on the person. Then we have to take our time, [it] takes longer time and effort to remove of that. Yes?

[Question: How do you know which to choose?]

Let's see here, because I carry a 200c kit. Right, in general. It's a good question. In, general, there's only two choices. Okay? So, all acute and emergency, you make in your notes, [in an] emergency use 30c or 200c. I recommend people get a 30c kit first and once you get familiar with using it and more confidence, then you get a 200c kit. Now, if you use the 30c and that remedy stops working, then your 200c can finish it.

[Question]

Yes, but if you know what you're doing and you have experience, you can go right to the 200 and knock it out. Okay? So, I never have any specific rules like that, but in general I'm giving a 30 or 200. There's usually no question about it because each kit is only one potency. So, I prefer people have at least a 30c kit. If they have some clinical experience with homeopathy, they can just use 200. So, 99% of the time I'm giving a 200c in emergency. One dose. The 30 might have to be repeated but if I'm sure of what I'm doing and this is all I have, then I'm going to give the 200. So, the 30 takes often three doses, the 200 may take it out in one. And you'll see miracles and magic. This is what blew the ancients away, that they took a little bit and diluted it and gave it and the disease disappeared like magic.
